  • 1/2 cup brewed chai tea, cooled
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon brewed chai tea (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix well. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually incorporate the cooled chai tea mixed with milk into the butter-sugar mixture while alternating with dry ingredients until just combined.
