  • 200g beef sirloin or tenderloin, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cooked rice (preferably day-old)
  • 1 cup finely diced carrots for fried rice
  • 1 cup corn kernels
  • 1 lightly beaten egg

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef: Season beef cubes with salt and pepper. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat; sear beef for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from heat.
  2. Stir-Fry Vegetables: In the same pan, add garlic, onion, broccoli, sliced carrots, and snow peas. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender yet crisp. Add soy sauce and mix well.
  3. Prepare Fried Rice: In a separate pan, heat vegetable oil; stir-fry diced carrots and corn for 2 minutes. Push aside and scramble the beaten egg. Add cooked rice and soy sauce; stir-fry for another 3 minutes.
  4. Assemble & Serve: Plate fried rice alongside stir-fried vegetables and seasoned beef cubes.
